Haven't seen anything yet, but can vouch for the ruger american predator in 6.5cm. Good shooter all around. My son started shooting mine this year.

Cabelas has a Savage Axis XP on sale for black friday - $199 after mail in rebate. Comes with weaver 3-9x40, but you would probably want to upgrade that.

My local walmart has the pink camo savage in .243 for $200 - so $125 after the rebate.

I bought savage trophy hunter model 11 with a Nikon 3-9 bdc over the weekend for 300 after 75 dollar rebate from a local bi-mart.

Check out Eurooptic.com. They are selling the Mauser m18 6.5 creedmore for $419. Whats more is you get 50% off Minox scopes with the purchase. Retail on the rifle Is $699. I am tempted to buy one myself but the last thing I need is another rifle lol

My Walmart didn't have anything that interested me. They did have an axis ii 30-06, with accutrigger in stainless for $300. $225 after rebate, just not something I need.

I'm in the hunt for a Tikka Lite or Superlite in .270 if anyone has seen one. Depending on price I'd be interested in the stainless steel version if the Lite too.

Anyone seen any killer deals on a decent AR?

Check out PSA. With a $50 Anderson lower you can have a nice AR for around $350. Builds are easy and like legos for grown ass men. I’d suggest moving up to the 223 Wylde with the 18” stainless bbl, but even the entry level guns are pretty sweet. I’ve built 5 or 6 and very happy with the quality at that price point. My Grendel shoots great and daughter will be whacking pronghorn with it before too long.
