Black Ovis sizing vs. Kuiu

Looking at ordering some merino wool along with maybe a softshell from Black Ovis, curious to the fit compared to Kuiu. Kuiu I wear an XL and the fit is loose but not baggy, and a touch long in the arms but manageable. I'm 5'10'' and bounce back and forth between 180-190 lbs.

I’m just a little shorter then you 5’8” same weight. and wear large in everything Kuiu, BO is all over on there sizing, I have an XL merino t shirt way to long but fits shoulders and sleeves well. Ordered the XL in the 1/4 zip long sleeve merino and I was swimming in it (sent it back) Ordered the new BO shoftshell jacket in large and sent it back due to it being so long. Also have the wind shirt from BO and it fits well just a little long in the sleeves, but works good for layering something bulky under.
