Blackhorn 209 and non-sabot bullets not an ethical combination

Man, this thread made my head spin.

I bought a CVA Accura MR in 2013 and the BH 209 Breech plug. I had a guy recommend the Fiocchi 209 primers cause they burned hotter. So ever since I bought this muzzleloader I've used 110 grains of BH 209, a 250 grain Barnes TMZ sabot and the Fiocchi primers. That load corresponds with the cheap Bushnell DOA scope reticle I threw on there. I've banged that gun around hunting in the mountains, I've hunted rainy early season in Kansas and every season since in Oklahoma. I've never had one misfire and it's always been a very accurate combination. Killed quite a few critters with it. I'm not afraid to admit that I've even forgotten to unload it after a season once and it fired right off the next season at the range.

I use the CVA bore blaster and clean out the breech plug after every range session or typically the end of the season. I always season the bore a little with a few caps before I load it to shoot or hunt. Just my experience, but it's been extremely reliable.
