My area got hit hard with the drought the deer took a beating. Anyway hunted 2 days with my daughters and what is normally 10 to 15 deer sightings a day was 0!!! Should I even take them again? I don't want them to get so discouraged that they give up on hunting.

I would keep going. I hunt less than 15 miles from where you are (archery) and had been seeing alot of deer, good bucks included. EHD was bad in MO this summer but i still think the population is alright.

I hunt around roscoe private land and from what I've seen we got hit bad. I'm gonna take them again this weekend but thinking we will keep the hunts short and do some other stuff like shooting, maybe some board games and exploring. Might even let them try the muzzleloader on some milk jugs etc.
