6:45am Saturday morning. 150 yds 30 degree down angle
6.5 cm 135 gr berger hunter
Blew up one lung and he went 50 yards.
First time out hunting this year and first time hunting with my wife.
Skinned and gutted him
Wife's pack weight 80 and mine weight 90 plus my rifle.
Packed the meat out in one trip. I went back Sunday morning to get the hide but it was too warm and spoiled.
My wife was a total rockstar. She was an excellent spotter and kept a good attitude on the brutal pack out. We've been married 8 months and this was a good test of communication and team building. I cannot wait to get her out for her first deer this year.

they are a very good blade design, carry one when hunting does everything I require. The nessmuck and a good 3 blade pocket knife gets the job done.

Congrats on the harvest! Your wife sounds like a keeper. Mine helped me pack out a whitetail and she swore she'd never help me again haha.

For sure! I told her next weekend is opening for Archery and I was doing it all over again. she said good luck! I'll be sitting at home drinking margaritas. I'll text your buddies and tell them to help you.
