What are y’all doing to preserve your boots? If anything? My last pair of Meindl Cabela’s I used “Snow Seal” to try and help keep them waterproof. After a few years they lost that capability. Not even sure if that stuff worked at all to be honest. So if you are using anything, how often or when do you treat your boots?

The only time I've treated my boots was if the leather on the toe box got hard and kept the crease. Just need to soften it up and push the crease out again to keep it away from my toes. Beyond that.......nothing. Going on 9 years now for my current set of Zamberlans.

Grangers for me. Usually at the start and end of the season at a minimum.

Boot treatment is not a one and done thing. It has to be done before the season, and again after the season when you clean them, and retreat them. If you wear your boots a lot, consider treating them several times during the year/season.
