I picked up a pair of Zamberlan Lynx with the BOA system last year, after a rough break in the boots were awesome, put a ton of miles on them from July-December. Broke them out again for turkey season/scouting, got a couple small blisters the first time out, expected after not wearing boots for a few months. I then got a weird toe injury following a long day on the mountain, it’s been lingering for a few weeks, assuming it’s an impact injury. I’ve also been getting some ankle pain on downhills which has never been an issue in the past. What I assume is unrelated to either, i’ve been getting a pretty bad rash around the toe area following wearing my wading boots and the Zamberlans, the doctor said it looks like it’s from friction.

Has anyone experienced something similar with a BOA system on boots? Just turned the ripe old age of 28 so maybe I’m just starting to get fragile.

I ordered some superfeet insoles to see if it helps at all with the toe pain.
