It’s bad . . . I’m in Missoula and keep checking in on friends over there. The fire jumped Bridger canyon road and that have forced evacuations of Jackson creek road, and even brackett creek road has a evacuation recommendation. Winds are blowing and it’s hot.

it’s north east of town so if your son is in town he should be fine hopefully.

Can see it from my front yard, it's insane. Everyone's out in their yard taking pictures. It jumped the ridge earlier, to the East/non Bozeman side and blew up. A few fire bombers hit it earlier, and some helos with water baskets flew over the house at dusk.

One more day of hot temps, then supposed to cool down Monday.

Not good, but it happens.

This is one small spot above the M, many others like it.

Swaro 60mm w/25-50 eye piece spotter, old Panasonic Lumix hand held to the spotter lens. One of the many times I wish I had a good spotter/phone connection.

Hoping Monday brings the rain/snow it is supposed to. Probably won't put it out, but should make it manageable.
