Bringing back moose meat from Canada

Seeing all these threads about the options of bringing back moose meat from AK, does anyone have a good solution for bringing back meat from Canada? I have a hunt booked that's based out of Smithers,BC and meat/antler transport has become a pretty complicated logistical problem.

Try doing a quick search on this site.

You are wise to check into it, it is not cheap if you plan to bring a lot back and it takes planning.

We drove to Smithers area and hauled everything home in an insulated trailer. About a 2 day drive back to central CA. No issues crossing the border then. We had 2 of the 3 cut and wrapped there.

^^^this^^ we drove to Smithers area too. Took a trailer and coolers with us. Had couple of the moose cut and wrapped there and one came back in quarters frozen and wrapped in a sleeping bag. SW WA no problems
