My setup is similar. 26.5” at 62#. Running a 27” 300 spine 6mm axis with 75 grain insert and 125 grain head but may bump up the insert 25 grains or Broadhead to get to 525 grains total

What kind of speed are you getting? My MBG Ascent 5 pin is already a little full at 250ish.
And on topic-what Head are you using for elk?

Haven’t tested my speed but should be in the 230’s. I plan on a cutthroat single bevel

If your looking to tighten the pin gap up you could move sight closer to bow. Might end up needing a different peep to properly fit around housing.

I was thinking that right after I replied. I just dropped to 1/4” from 5/16” on peep and don’t wanna go any smaller hunting-that said I may be able to bring dovetail in one detent. I knew I shoulda gone custom on the sight and order the 2” housing....live and learn.

I’d bet you’d almost get away with bringing it in as close as you can 3rd hole. Just set your bottom pin at desired place in the housing sight in and then sight the rest in.

Those jagers are mean looking. I've been interested in something similar called "bonebroadheads". Anyone heard of them?

I think I’m about 247 right now. Plan on using cutthroat single bevel. I’ve lost a good buck years ago to a 3 blade muzzy in the shoulder . Lost one due to a deflection then hit the shoulder (mech head). Lost one last fall to the shoulder (2.1” sevr mechanical)

Going with cutthroats 125 grain this fall

Cut Throat 200s here. Super excited. The "shank" is machine flat for easier sharpening on the 25 degree bevel. Should make wet sanding and stropping a breeze.
