Browning magazine length 300wsm

I’m looking to buy a 300 WSM. I’m contemplating between the Tikka and the Xbolt. I want something in the medium light weight category. I know the factory Tikka mags are coal limited and I know about the fixes, but what is the coal potential of the Xbolt?

my WSM xbolt mag feeds reliably to a hair over 2.9" Maybe 2.910 COAL?

Just so you know that Tikka doesn’t make a 1:10” twist barrel for the 300WSM. It appears that Tikka may be phasing out the 300WSM altogether. I am not aware of a COAL issue with the Tikka 300 WSMs. There is a COAL issue with the 300 win mags though. Good luck finding ammo or loading components for the 300 wsm.

I’m not too worried about the 1-11 twist, the 300WM that I foolishly sold shot the 200gr AB & EXLDx into the same ragged hole. As far as components I have everything but brass.
