Buddies miss their application deadline?

Sign 'em up for the Night's Watch. A coworker wrote this up after half his party of 8 missed the MT elk application deadline:

September gathers, and now my watch begins.
It shall not end until my partners' tags are punched.
I shall take no elk, hold no bow, release no arrows.
I shall wear no release and win no glory.
I shall live and die at my post. I am the caller in the darkness.
I am the camp bitch of the team.
I start the fires that burn against the cold, I light the lanterns that bring the dawn, I blow the horn that wakes the sleepers, I am shield that guards the team from grizzlies.
I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this September and all the Septembers to come.

So I googled nights watch...thought it was some sort of application reminder service.
Nope.
Looks like a bunch of trad archers on game of thrones...

You would figure with all the dragons and magic in that show they could make some decent clothing...

"Abracadabra!" *poof* goretex outer shell and wool underlayers.
WOW...this is way better than wearing this heavy hide cape...

Both the dragons and magic are extremely short supply in the series. Most of it has nothing to do with either.

And yes, I did just push my glasses up my nose before I typed that.
