180gn Accubond out of a 20" 300 win mag. Traveling at 2800. Cow elk 60 yds. This was shot #2 quartering away. Entered behind shoulder, found off side near brisket/ lower neck. Shot #1 made it all the way through.

Mule deer front quarter. 130gr Barnes TTSX .277 diameter. Impact velocity roughly 2500fps. Hit just below the scapula.

.357 140 grain Hornady FTX traveling roughly 1500fps. Daughter shot this large bodied buck at 20 yards quartered to. You can see entrance hole in first picture. Recovered bullet under offside hide. Massive internal damage, but no blood trail. Deer made it out of sight about 120 yards, took some looking to find him.

Entrance and exit holes in the carcass made by a 140gr VLD Classic Hunter at 270 yds on my Yakutia Snow Sheep.
In this case the VLD produced conventional expansion and penetration, and after the hit the ram run downhill for 50-60 yds.
