Hey all.just doing a lil e-scouting today and came across this area and thought it might be a burn area.does this look like a burn area to you all?does anyone have any pics of what a burn area might look like on google earth.i figured if it was a burn it would be a good place to locate elk.

It's a burn. Hunted it many times as a matter of fact. Was good until an outfitter started setting up a camp right outside of the top left of your screenshot.

Burns can pull them in like candy to a Kid👍 Have shot two bulls in burns from 4 months prior

If bowhunting it would be great to glass elk in that burned feeding area especially in the evenings. Those elk in that area will most likely be living or bedded above in that flatter benched area or a hair above. That's where I'd be hunting & killing them, I want them in the cover before getting after them! I'll bet there's water somewhere up in that above area!
