Drew a17 this year on second choice. Was able to go scouting once. Really liked the area by south lake just a lot of people out there. Taboose pass trail seemed ok, but probably better for rifle. Plan on going in and getting to about 9-10k and glassing the tree line. Anybody have any pointers for this zone? My grandfather had another heart attack so will not be joining us for this hunt. Guess I’ll try to take him to a general zone later on in the season.

Shingle mill bench also looks promising. Need to slow down on hiking exploring country and try to key In to actually find bucks now
