Hello all,

I think I know the answer to this question but will ask anyone. I love the 300 win mag caliber and have hunted with one for years. I have alot of ammo, boresighters, reloading equipment for the caliber. Mostly an old savage but it is time to upgrade. I purchased a veil alpine tikka in 300 win mag and its not for me, the stock isn't my favorite and also not a huge fan of detachable magazines for backpack gun. It shoots well but also would like 1:10 as the one I got is 11”

I want some advice on a stainless steel 300 win mag with box magazine. Any thoughts? I hear CA is hit or miss and bergara is great. Is this true? It’s $400 difference at my local store.

I’d do the Bergara. I had nothin but problems with my two Christian’s and just sold both of them for $1000.00 a piece. Which is 1/2 of what I paid. However the begara’s I own like almost every round I put through them.they hold up to abuse and don’t scratch and wear etc.
There just heavy. Which why I went down the Christian road trying to find a particular caliber in a light weight set up.
Never again

I have a Highlander in. 300 WM and don't really have any complaints. I have started load development with Berger 215's and H1000 - its just been hard to really dial in due to supply limitations

My dad just bought a brand new Mesa in .300WM, I can say with 100% certainty the action on my Highlander is much smoother. Can't speak to the accuracy comparison yet
