Typical January in Alaska. Snowfall thus far has been crap at best and pretty damn cold. Not a single mile logged on the sleds. Managed to stay fairly busy and productive.

Figured I'd share some of my hobby work.

More project stuff...

So I've teamed up with a buddy to make our own Eurpoean panels. These are a first run, we move on to solid hardwoods next week if time allows. I think the black walnut and mahogany will flow well.MMost of these will be going to another local fellow who does hydrographics.

These horns- man, lemme tell yah. They are everything "I" like in a sheep.

Big character, deep color. Fat bases, wide beam. Super cool. Guy is gonna be stoked when it's done. These babies are el naturale, no stain/clear.

Finished Euro Dall Sheep, Age 12. I get a real kick outta doing sheep, they seem to scale much higher regarding the hands on approach.

Pretty hard to find a ram older then 12...but I'll sure as hell try again this year. Which range you headed to? Fly in or walk in?
