Cable Slide Issue

Every time I draw back the cable slide is making an audible noise that is definitely going to cause issues when I get in the treestand. Didn't know if anyone has had this issue before or can recommend a lubricant or a fix that I can use to decrease the friction on the cable slide.

Thanks

I had the same thing I cleaned the rod still had a slight noise. A touch if unscented oil didn't help . cleaned again and used bow string wax , that did the trick. if has been months and no repeat noise problem

I’d also add that if you’re using a plastic cable slide to replace it with a good Teflon slide. Limb saver or Saunders hype glide for example. Less friction and less wear on your cables.

Ended up replacing the slide with a Teflon slide. I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol but it was still making noise.

Thanks for the advice.
