I don’t know if you’re crazy or not . I have a pair of 12x50 EL’s and every time I glass with my buddies who use VT and other cheaper binos as soon as something good is spotted a long ways off in low light they all want a turn with my EL’s.

I believe optical differences would be extremely subtle when comparing premium binos at low magnifications. However, I think your swaro may show more in adverse conditions (e.g. less light scatter in very bright conditions). Also, your swaro is lighter, has wider FOV, has better ergonomics, has more comfortable eye relief (vortex is quite tight for eyeglass wearers), and has better warranty. Getting best of the best will always cost more considerably like a diamond ring.
