I just acquired this stove with the Hope's of making it work in my kodiak flexbow. I picked up a stove Jack that I plan on installing in the side wall not the roof. I'm puzzled how I can use the nesting stove pipe and rig an elbow to fit the oddball sized pipe. A 5" 90 is to small and the 6" is way to big. Has anyone found a reasonable solution to this problem in the past or is it just better to scrap the nesting pipe and get straight 5"?.

I would use a straight 5 with the corresponding elbow that fits. The nesting pipes are designed to only go straight up.

Could you guys explain to me why there would be pleats sewn Into this shove jack? Is there a practical reason for this? Is it me or does it look terrible, I just opened the box in plans of sewing this in tonight and I'm not sure I want to now without ripping the velcro off and cutting the excess material first. Am I being too fussy?

Ok so with the help of another member u opted for 1 pc straight 5" to attach to the elbow and ran the nesting pipe from there. It works well. There is enough roon5inside the firebox for all the pipe just not the elbow.

Took the family camping last weekend k the bighorns where temps dipped down low enough that I thought about testing the new stove. It was cold and wind outside but 80degrees in the tent. Overall I'm very excited about having the capability of heat in the real cold temps.
