Pretty sure a rokslide member had that slot with wayne for this fall. Maybe they will chime in why they cancelled. 20% off? I'm sure someone took it already...

20% off for 100% more snow than usual in that country. Seems like a reasonable gamble. :D

Swank killed his ram on an extremely high snowpack year in the Wrangell's. Maybe the big boys like snow and thrive?

Someone might have got a discount and not feel as though the winter conditions jeopardize the chance at a boomer. Old rams have seen a thing or two, including a lot of snow.

Harvest stats after the last bad winter 12/13 showed about a 18% reduction of harvest in both '13 and '14, and nearly a full year reduction in age of harvest in some areas. A full year is a big jump.., meaning very few old rams were shot, so younger rams where taken. The number of 10yo and older rams was half as many as previous to to the bad winter.

They don't all die in winter, and if you get in early and get one of the few that survived it should be a good hunt... The problem is many of the younger rams that would be available this year, died in 2013 as lambs/yearlings. Hunting is going to be pretty tough in some areas for a couple years. The good news is the lamb crops post 12/13 for 4ish years, coupled with mild winters have set us up for a quick recovery.
