I helped a good friend pack out a cow yesterday. I have the reckoning and he has the 44 mag. His bag swallowed the two quarters while mine was stuffed. I was impressed with the versatility of the 44 mag and that will be my new bag in the next year for sure.

I had a reckoning which I loved but due to working a ton this year during season I sold it and kept my guide lid and quarter panel for day hunts and meat packing. It did a great job as always but I do want to get another bag. These two are the ones I’m thinking about again. I love the centerzip and being a solo hunter and I pack meat in the bag the reckoning was super nice. I do like the organization of the 44. I was just curious how the 44 handled meat on the bone and boned out meat on elk sized game in the main bag.
