How do you all feel about carbon fiber barrels? I've posted numerous times on here and you all are probably tired of seeing my posts. I'm trying to decide if I should fix up my Remington 700 with a new stock (probaly a $700 upgrade) or buy new. My finished Model 700 gun weight with a new stock would be about about 7lbs. The Christensen Arms Ridgeline would be about 6.3 lbs. Is the carbon fiber barrel that much better then the traditional barrel? What about Christensen Arms specifically? Do they make good barrels? How bout the Ridgeline specifically? Is that a good rifle?
