Carbon Six Barrels

I bought a Carbon 6.5 PRC Tikka Prefit barrel back in March took me 5 months to get it. Gene from Carbon Six has been great to work with. They were still quicker than McMillan and Thunderbeast to manufacture my parts.......

Took the new 6.5creed out to break in the carbon six barrel. With factory Hornady ammo, after sight in this was the best group, so far I’m pretty happy with what I’m seeing. My finger is off the target for reference, didn’t keep it. By no means am I a great shooter so I think others could of tightened their groups up much faster then I did.




Below is my sight in, initial rounds and tweaking target, the top left is the poi change when I put the magneto speed on. With a 20” barrel I was getting an avg of 2621ft/s with an SD of 11 and ES of 28. I think this carbon six barrel will become a shooter.
