This isn't really "news." There have been verified wolf sightings in Colorado for quite awhile. They don't stop at the border coming from Wyoming. My dad saw a big black one last year elk hunting in the NW corner of the state. I filed a report and was called by the biologist. He said they most certainly are there, though there's no evidence of them reproducing in Colorado yet.

It's only a matter of time before they establish themselves. There's plenty of food and habitat. The wolves will come and life will go on.
