Cell Phone as GPS in Brooks Range?

I'm going on my second Brooks Range float hunt this September, and I need to start mapping out my plan. Last time, I used my Delorme PN-60, and it worked fine, but I'd rather use my cell phone (Samsung S7) this time if I can confirm it'll be reliable.

Has anyone here actually used their cell phone GPS in the Brooks Range? I'll probably take my Delorme with me either way, but figured I'd check in here to see about firsthand cell phone GPS experiences in the Brooks. Let me know if it's worked for you. Thanks!
