I was poking around looking for something that would keep my tube tucked-away but still accessible. I like having the tube on my pack but didn't want a quiver or sleeve. I ended up modifying a magnetic measuring tape holdster so that it would fit my tube. The receiver is just a clip, easy to put on a strap. I took the magnets off the tape side and installed them on my tube at the right height.
Result is pretty good, takes a bit of practice to get the tube back on but it's similar to tucking it behind your strap. I don't expect it would stay on if I took a dive, but otherwise it's pretty solid! I suppose you could always get stronger neodymium magnets if needed. I was also nervous about the sound changing with the tube but I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. Figured I'd share if anybody was looking for something a little different.
