WTT Christensen Mesa 6.5 CM left handed

Looking at possibly trading my lefty Mesa in 6.5 creedmoor for a stainless lefty in 7mm Rem Mag.

The Mesa currently has a vortex razor HD LH 3-15x42 on it with Talley rings. Gun has about 40 rounds through it and shoots Hornady ELDX 1/2 MOA.

What's it weigh? And what's the black thing on the barrel in front of the stock?

6.5 lbs bare rifle. 8.5 lbs with scope and sling. The black thing is electrical tape. I use it to cover my muzzle and like to have extra on the gun.

I’d take $1300 bare rifle.
$1900 with mounted scope.
