I ended up ordering a Mesa Altitude stock and Hawkins Hunter DBM from Red Hawk Rifles. Ordered it Friday and had it in my hands yesterday. Everything went together great. Didn’t have to notch the stock for the bolt release either.

Thinking about going with this setup for my CA Ridgeline in 300 WSM.

Is the Mesa noticeably stiffer than the factory stock? Did the bottom metal and Mesa install easily?

I’m not sure I’m qualified to determine if it is noticeably stiffer or not, but theoretically it should be. 😆 If nothing else, I definitely prefer the more vertical grip on the Mesa stock.

The Hawkins Hunter DBM bottom metal dropped right into the Mesa stock that was inlet for the M5. My dad is borrowing my rifle right now, or I’d snap a few pics for you.
