I tried crickets and zoophobus larvae once
they were pretty hard fried, so they tasted like the crust of hard fried eggs
just morally unpleasant, but nothing to taste

I've tried them, cooked them in a peanut oil and dusted them with salt.
Like crunchy fish bites, pretty tasty and a laugh but I'm not running out to grab more.
Id rather eat actual fish bites.

My best friend many years ago on a jungle escape,survival and evasion exercice ate a slug, ask him how it tasted he said kinda woodsey, I am not saying I would never eat a bug but I would have too be pretty darn hungry and out of ammo.
