I’m way behind the curve when it comes to hunting clothes. I normally hunt in really temperate weather. Highs max out around 65 and lows bottom out around 45. The biggest issue is that it’s wet. As of now, I hunt in OD/Forest Green 5.11 pants that are too trashed to wear at work, brown military t-shirts, and earth tone hoodies. This is a dramatic improvement over the jeans and hoodies I used to wear. I run really hot and almost never wear base layers unless its raining. I have light weight merino long johns for those times. If I’ve been walking a while, I literally have steam billowing off me.

Is it possible to find clothes that will be better for these conditions that doesn’t cost me more than the suit I got married in?

For rain gear, you dont need name brand hunting clothing. Find drab solids. Wash them a couple times to get the crinkle out.
