Yes invest in a good pair of leather gloves, like a dumb ass last oct. left my gloves in the truck but had on my knee pads on a mile stalk, was heading too the area we hunted and spotted the deer in the distance was all excited, still picking those little cactus thorns out of my left hand, might of been worth it but on the final approach (crawling along a ridge here is where I had the cactus encounter) and once in position too shoot decided the only buck in the group was a little yearling so left him walk was not a antelope but a mule deer. But the cactus does not care what your after. Also this was a 5 day hunt the first day great weather no wind too speak of and in the mid. 50s the second day rained all day hunted but all that happened was a wet me, the next two days blizzard, all the roads too where we hunted shut down last day did manage too get in the area but hunted in 18 in. of snow. Weather in Wyoming yep your gonna have it.
