Co 44,45, 444 wintering area/mortality

Where do the deer from these units winter? Any reports on winter mortality for this herd? Have some serious decisions to make in the next two months.

I was hesitant to even list the GMUs as it's a sensitive subject here. PM is good if this mustn't be talked about openly, or let me know how to get in touch with someone who'd know at CPW.

Maybe just call cpw and ask if you can speak with a wildlife biologists for the areas you have interest in and ask them about the effects of this winter, maybe ask if they are pushed down lower for the winter months, if their primary food source is still available to the animal at higher/ lower elevation during the winter. Things like that. I'm not from Colorado and have never hunted there but if I wanted to know the things your asking about that's where I would start.
