My good friend Nick drew a limited CO bull tag. The season opened yesterday and we got to look over a lot of elk. They were fired up and bugling all day. Just before 2:00 this big guy stepped out with two other bulls feeding our way. We looked at each other and both said that's the one. Nick snuck through the sage and dropped him at about 280 yards with Uncle Tom's 1969 7MM Mag.

I had a great time Nick, Tom, and Matt. Thanks for sharing camp and the hunt with me.

I really enjoy seeing pictures of nice bulls like this. Just do it on the weekends so my weekdays aren't so distracted. Thanks for the pics. Congratulations to the hunter.

Nice bull. Just got home from a unit 49 hunt and the rut seemed to be over. I shot a bull and will post pics in the morning, not as big as that one. Congrats on the great bull fellers.

Thanks guys, it was a blast. I hope to hunt this unit in two years with another friend that has enough points.
