I am planning an archery elk hunt this fall in unit 71. Looking at the stoner mesa area. Any comments on hunting pressure or hut ideas would be appreciated.

In 2020, GMU 71 will be a draw unit. No more OTC archery in those units

Also your gunna have comments on high hunting pressure in every single OTC unit. Instead of asking around to find areas no one comments on pressure spend a day of the hunt driving the roads in a few different areas and find some off the beaten path spots to access. It’ll give you some options.
