Synthetic or wool base layer
Fleece mid layer and down vest
Windproof outer layer (I use the Nomad Cottonwood but I'm probably going to get FL Sanctuary)
Cabelas Inferno boots
I prefer lighter gloves and muff pocket vs. bulky winter gloves.

Cabelas MT050 Bibbs and Parka
Synthetic/poly base with wool over the top.
Fleece mid layer
400-800 gram boots above 25
Pack boots below 25

Edit: Forgot about my neck gaiter.

I’ve been able to sit several hours in sub zero temps with this. Key is to have loose clothing and boots to not restrict blood flow.
A good protein breakfast to give your body fuel to burn.

Skre Guardian jacket and bibs. I have the Incinerator and it is not in the same league as far as warmth as the Guardian. You cannot beat down for cold weather stand hunting.

For the head Kuiu Kenai bomber hat over a First Lite Tundra balaclava. For the hands Sitka Incinerator muff with heat packs.

If you want to keep using your Incinerator jacket and bibs you could add the Pnuma IconX heated core vest and pants. They weigh next to nothing and generate a lot of heat.

First lite merino wick baselayers
Sitka fanatic hoody
Celsius midi jacket
Fanatic jacket

Equinox midi pants
Stratus pants

Fanatic gloves
Stratus beanie
Sitka neck gaiter

Merino socks for walking in and then heavy wool sock over top.

That combination has gotten me until late December in Iowa.

I'm currently using sitka gear in layers. I definitely do not want to be over layered while hiking but have the ability to layer up while sitting.

I really like the First Lite merino base layers. I wear the kiln and furnace together. I also use a Heater Body Suit when the temps drop below 25. Its heavy and bulky but super warm. When the temps drop its a necessity.

When it's really cold, goose down jacket & long johns, rabbit gauntlets & hat, Thermacell heated insoles, and hot packs in the gauntlets.

Tough to beat goose down & fur. Mother Nature knows what she's doing.
