I tree stand hunt in the north east.. so it gets down to the teens with wind chills.

working on my bottom layer system. So far it looks like this

FL wicks thermal -FL furnace pant- FL solitude bib.

I would like to eliminate the wicks thermal I think for cold weather and put the furnace next to skin then a pant in between thefurnace and the bib.

what pant are you guys using between your thermal and bibs??

thank you

I usually just wear a pair of sweatpants or sweatpant material Joggers. The joggers are nice as they're loose but don't bunch up, and fit down inside my insulated rubber boots very easily and comfortably

If I wear heavyweight merino base I don’t wear pants under my Fanatic bibs. If I’m wearing light merino base, I’ll wear Apex pants, then Fanatic bibs.

Get yourself a pair of these to wear between baselayer and outer layer. Very lightweight, stupid cheap and good warmth added.

i have the 350 and 250 FL merino bottoms, zip offs in the 250 which is nice for hike-in or temp changes. If im planning to hike around after sitting ill throw my corrugates on underneath. Long cold sits, might add a puffy layer.
