Colorado 118 Pronghorn advice

Has anyone hunted Colorado Unit 118 and or Turkey Track land trust for speed goats? Just moved to the area due to the Army, and I am looking for advice as 118 was one of the left over draw tags availible and seems to be 98% private land.

First of all, thank you for your service. One thing you will find in CO is any unit east of I25 is almost all private. You will find some areas that have state trust land as you are referencing but in my experience those areas typically get pretty crowded since they are the only public lands. The grasslands further East is usually the best bet for antelope but I believe that takes a couple years to draw? Hopefully someone will chime in that has hunted that unit.

Rifle? Or Bow? If I remember right a lot of those STL’s don’t open till sept 1st if you are bowhunting.
