Exactly. All you have to do is read the forum, don't even have to post, and can gain a lot of answers to newbie questions. Although better to post and be an active member.

Without a doubt can learn enough to avoid the "what unit?" post.

@Dos Perros, any robust waypoints for the non-lazy?

I have over 150 miles hiked in this unit between a scouting trip and a dozen days of hunting. I live 13 hours away and you'll have to trust I'm not rich. I sweat and toil and fail often just like the rest of the dedicated members here. I'm often willing to help someone sweat smarter*, but you gotta sweat. :)

* - acknowledging that I'm just one dude who had one tag one year; what I learned may not apply in the future.
