Colorado GMU 77/78 Muzzleloader Mule Deer

Planning a trip to CO GMU 77/78 for Sept Mule Deer Muzzleloader. Wanted to see if anyone hunted high around Pagosa Peak last year and how the forest/animals are recovering from the beetle kill and fire a couple years back. Also, hunter density around Pagosa Peak.

@Poser I've already planned for that contingency with my "crew" but the lionshare of my crew can't see their boot tips over their belly and coincidentally all have new knee problems.
