for the last 3 years i have been taking the family to colorado for a little vacation. We hike around, ride trains, go to RMNP, rafting and things like that. Ages of my sons are 11 and 13. Each year we also do a short horseback ride. the first year it was nose to tail, then the last 2 years its been "open range ?". The rides are normally thru some fields then some wooded areas lasting around 2 or 3 hours. this year the kids are most excited to some more horseback riding. i am wondering if anyone can recommend some sort of all day ride where perhaps they can take us to a lake of sorts for some fishing? it needs to be a one day ride as my wife doesnt like to camp and i'm guessing she only likes to ride for the kids.
