Colorado Unit 02 Muzzleloader Deer

My son and I drew Colorado Unit 02 muzzleloader deer tags. The unit is supposed to have good bucks if you can find them, and I have been told to scout, scout, scout. Besides that, anyone willing to share some advise on general areas to start in. Since it has been so dry in that area, I was thinking that water availability will be a key factor, so was thinking the Little Snake River drainage and the Vermillion Creek drainage areas to start. I suspect that most of the springs in the unit will be dry this year.

I have never hunted unit 2 but I have heard it holds some nice bucks. Good luck man!
