Just picked up an REI Magma 15 degree bag. Tech specs say compressed volume is like 5.7 liters. Was wondering size compression sack to get. Also, is it OK to leave it compressed for a day maybe two for the drive out. Just trying to save space in the Tacoma.

Thanks.

Use the sea to summit 10L sack. It works perfectly and you can compress it super low. REI also makes their own compression sacks. I have a 10L of that and it works perfectly in that too.

I don’t think a couple days will make any impact to it’ss performance. Just like it would be in your backpack compressed if you were on a backcountry hunt for a few days.

If you pack it for months on end in that compression sack, you can ruin the down insulation in the bag for sure.

Sea to summit works great. I have a preference for kifaru. The longitudinal compression means you end up with something that is the length of you packs width and cigar shaped instead of a ball. I find it packs a little better.
