Don’t know how I was somehow involved in the end of the greatest thread in Rokslide history. Hell, I was actually trying to keep the train on the tracks. It had started to derail about a month again with similar posts that got called out for non-memeness. I’m not butt-hurt by @gelton or @geewhiz, or triggered, or whatever, nor was this some kind of passive aggressive political disagreement. I wasn’t offended by the posts or the banter, only annoyed that people kept crossing the line with non-memes on the CoViD meme thread. I even tried to right the ship by throwing in a couple of original memes made for the occasion. I hope we can open the thread back up and carry on. If not, I hang my head in shame for being involved in the thread demise. Sorry guys…

So you think it's your job to police what is and what isn't a meme? This world is really f'ed up when people can't just keep scrolling and ignoring what they don't like/agree with. But to actually be upset about something to a point that they feel a need to report it is a form of mental illness.

I wonder how many left-leaning memes got reported by members...answer that question and you have the answer to who is and isn't a snowflake.

I have been on this forum for 8 years and I have never reported a single post. I was told by the founder of this site in a post that I would be a good moderator but inherently knew that I would be a terrible moderator because I wouldn't lock any thread unless there was pornography or threats of violence.

I didn't plan to respond to this thread until I got called out in it but carry on trying to police something that doesn't need to be policed.

If you’re complaining about politics in the Corona thread you’re pretty dense. The whole thing was political. It was a huge power grab and citizens happily gave up their rights and begged for more restrictions. If it wasn’t, the governors wouldn’t be fighting so hard in court to keep the “mandates”. PROVE ME WRONG.

It was political alright but really from only one side...think of it this way, Trump takes credit for getting a vaccine to market so quickly, which is largely deserved...then he, still to this day says that everyone should go get vaccinated (as a choice, no mandates) and the large % of his voters say no way am I being a test case for big pharma.

So, political - yes and no. Its really boils down to who worships "authority" and those that are skeptical based on hundreds of years of history researching "benevolent" governments and their corporatist's cronies like big pharma.

Look no further than Biden rescinding Trump's policy of nearly free insulin and then buying 500 MILLION doses of Pfizer vaccines to spread around developed countries whose people are smart enough to run for the hills when they see Unicef and their white coats.

Just get a locked members area. Only allow those in who don't report.. if they report ban them from that area.... for their safety 🤣.

Can still have regular slide while giving people who don't whine a place to do what they do.
