Yep, we are completely shut down right now. Sucks because we were coming off a good year and a good start to this year. We have reserves, but that’ll only last so long before we may just have to go back to work regardless of the orders. I’ll be damned if I just stand by and watch 7 years go down the gutter. Ain’t no one gonna bail me out either.

We are in the same boat... everyone is getting torched by this thing.

Actually my hours increased. I work in a hospital, in the OR. My hospital has had patients that did not survive COVID-19. Its a serious bug. I think we are in it for the long haul. I am glad that the government has stepped up with a stimulus package. Lets hope that banks, house rental, car payments all give some leeway to those affected.

I'm a primary care doctor in the outpatient setting. I work for a hospital system and our hours have been cut due to this pandemic. No one wants to come to the doctor right now (understandably so) except those that are sick. I'm on the front lines of this shit and it is scary for me and my family...but it goes with the territory and I will do my best. Yall stay stafe, stay home, and flatten the curve so we can all get through this...

Hours increased and pay cut. I'm working from home 60+ hours a week at a pay cut that took me back to just enough to pay the essentials. In the worst timing possible I took a job with a startup in the real estate industry and this thing is murdering our cash flows. Thankful just to have a job but if this stuff cripples our economy past April I'll most likely end up in the bread line for a bit.

Family acquaintance was the first person back in my home county to die from it. Rural small town PA, it's undoubtedly everywhere by now.

I'm hopeful we'll get this thing knocked back and revert to somewhat normal life but there are entire industries that are never going to recover from this. The V shaped recovery is an absolute pipe dream. There are going to be aftershocks that hit our economy for years. This whole thing, like it (or hopefully not), is only going to move us further in the direction toward socialism, that's just being realistic.

Laid off, my brother and his girlfriend have it as do ~6 of my coworkers. We're not supposed to leave the house or the county. My wife is a nurse in our very small hospital and luckily they can still ship cases. If this thing hasn't hit your community yet, enjoy the calm before the storm.

I work in the restaurant industry, we haven't seen business levels this low, EVER.
Worse than the 2008 recession.
We were able to get hourly and management paid one full month after we closed our restaurants, after that, we're not sure what more we can do.

Everyone is jumping on the delivery, takeout bandwagon, as they should, but most won't make enough to cover their overhead.

I'm about a week from being right there with you with the increased hours, reduced salary.

I can't see the percentages on my phone. Can someone post the current percentages in the comments? Please and thank you.
