CRAZY GOOD SAUER 100 SALE! - EUROOPTIC - AS LOW AS $499.99

Can anyone confirm the thread size for the bolt knob? I assumed based on what I read online that these were M6x1. Turns out not. Don't want to reorder yet another wrong size.

But I am having a failure to extract about once every five rounds. Is there something I can try to fix this myself quickly or do I just need to get in touch with customer service?
Mine did the same thing. A box of Hornady 143 eldx precision hunter was the worst -1 out of 5 getting real stuck. I cleaned / scrubbed the chamber and the problem is mostly gone now. If that doesn't work, the next step is to polish the chamber. Look that up and see if it's something you're comfortable attempting, otherwise you'll need to send it back or take it to a gunsmith.

I've been wondering the same as well.

I could not resist one of these based on the feed back here. It is nice and it shoots pretty good. But I am having a failure to extract about once every five rounds. Is there something I can try to fix this myself quickly or do I just need to get in touch with customer service?

This problem is extremely common. The extractor spring design leaves room for inconsistent spring tension and is the most common cause of extraction problems.

Take the bolt out and feel the extractor tension. Mine was so loose the extractor would stay off the case rim and not spring back at all.

The fix is just pop the spring out (it's a wire spring wrapped around the bolt head, it just rotates off) and gently bend it inward towards the bolt.
