Just about to pull the trigger on the wild rocks.... just how warm are they in the summer hiking around scouting season?
Are they too warm.... I mean I’ve rucked Danners for like 5 years for duty boots with 400 grams of gtx and they get a little warm but no big deal.....as long as I got the right socks on

The Wild Rocks have 400G of insulation so you have experience. I don't think they are too warm for summer/fall use. I think they are 10" in height - so a little taller than some like, but I consider them a great all year/all around boot if going off trail in tough terrain

Thanks man I ended up with the Briksdals tho we’ll see this weekend how they hold up in Colorado canyon country
