Cub Cadet Push Button Ignition

I wanted to get my mower out to mulch up some leaves. Normally when you set down and push the button you see the voltage flash on the display. When I push the button now, nothing is displayed and the mower won’t crank. First thing I dis was clean up the battery terminals/connection. Then I tried to jumper the brake safety switch and the seat pressure switch. Neither worked. I am leaning towards the ignition switch itself being bad. Does anyone know a way to bypass the switch or to check it?

My guess is there a main fuse somewhere close to the battery.

Is the starter accessible? Did you try to jump the terminals?

Check for power at the ignition switch.

Check relays and fuses.

Also, is there an additional safety switch in the shifter mechanism?

It’s hydrostatic but there is a safety switch for the blade engagement.

My little cub cadet did same thing, 2 things bad battery(load test) meter said it was at 12.2 volt. pPut a load tester on it dropped to 1.9 volts. Second was the Brake pedal safety switch. That one was my bad. I forgot to hold the peddle down while trying to start it. Brain fart.
