Curiosity didn't kill these cats

I've run into 4 cats the past 5 days. First one I saw at 90 yds in headlight and ended up facing off with it at around 20 yds at 11 at night. Other night around 11 again, I had 2 adolescents stalk me for 2 miles it turned out. 3rd time I came around a bush and saw the two sets of eyes waiting it was crystal clear they had me picked out.

These people are handling these situations all wrong, and in broad daylight nonetheless.

Idaho. Never seriously considered needing to use my pistol until that happened. The 4th I glassed changing beds midday on a ridge.
