1. Replace the string before firing it again. 2. Experience "rapid disassembly" when firing your bow.

Looks fine to shoot until the new one comes in. Could also just replace that string with the original one if you're in a time crunch. But I wouldn't ignore.

So I called up GAS and they are sending me just a new string for 50$ and getting it out the door this week, great customer service. There string tech did say I would be fine shooting it until the new string came, couldn’t really get an answer or how long…. and to just keep it waxed or serve over top. Problem is you couldn’t monitor the string if it’s served over.

This is great customer service, however, I am shocked you got anyone affiliated with the company to say anything like this. They just opened themselves up to a whole hill of liability if something happens in the meantime.

Confidence in your product is one thing, but man if something happened to you while shooting...

Ya I dunno, I guess that’s true. But they must be confide that it won’t break.
